AI policy in the Czech Republic
The policy paper analyses the Czech Republic’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (NAIS), and how or to what extent the strategy is influenced by the European Union’s approach on “trustworthy AI”. The analysis is divided into five main sections, covering the composition and focus areas of the NAIS, law and ethics, data and digitisation, and the timeline of proposed objectives.
The paper was prepared for the European Liberal Forum (ELF) with the support of the Institute for Politics and Society and the Forum for Reforms, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (Fores), as a separate chapter in ELF’s publication Human-centered AI in the EU.
