The Institute for Politics and Society and Google organize a debate on Artificial Intelligence as an Opportunity for the Czech and European Economy.
The biggest breakthrough in human history, the next big thing, or technology that will change the world, the economy and everyday life. There is a great deal of hope in artificial intelligence (AI), but it also raises great concerns and questions about how society, the law and the whole economy – companies, state and citizens can prepare themselves for its on-going approach.
The European Commission is therefore preparing an initiative consisting of three parts:
- support for research and development;
- legal rules for artificial intelligence;
- economic consequences of AI;
The Czech Republic is currently preparing further steps which respond to happening in the European Union. Their intent is to prepare suitable conditions for the development of technologies that will be the main engine of the economy of the future.
The aim of the debate is to present the European and Czech initiative and foreign patterns and answer the questions whether we will be poor or rich in the future, who will be responsible for machines and artificial brains and what we can do to make the Czech Republic the technological and economic revolution of the future.
Working languages will be Czech and English without translation.
