Following the international conference Digital Czech, the Institute for Politics and Society is organizing a third debate in the cycle of Education on the theme: Education 4.0 – The revolution must start in elementary school.
The R/evolution of the digital age brings huge challenges for education, which requires change and innovation to be successful. There are many questions. What will be expected of the education system, and what will be the public service requirement under the Education Act in the next few years? What will children who are now in elementary schools need in the future, and how do we prepare them? How will we recognize the changing role of the teacher and prepare for it?
Come discuss education with:
Karl Rais, deputy for police (ANO) – tbc
Hana Marešová, vice dean of the organisation Development and Lifelong Learning, PF UPOL
Silvie Pýchová, executive director of the Standing Conference of Associations in Education
Jiří Trunda, director of elementary school Vratislavova
The debate will be moderated by Dasha Divišová, a consultant for the Depositum Bonum Foundation and the Institute for Politics and Society.
The debate will take place on June 2, 2016 from 17:00 pm in the conference room at CoWorking Prague (Karlovo náměstí 7/325, Prague 2). The event will be held in Czech and admission is free.
