The European Liberal Forum and Institute for Politics and Society, in cooperation with Prague House, cordially invite you to the discussion ‘Transatlantic Trade in the Trump Era: New Strategies for Europe.’

The event will focus on how trade relations between the US and the EU will impact the trade war, the possibility of co-operation to reduce tariffs, overall trade liberalization. There will also be an assessment of the changing US position in the international economy. Come and gain familiarity with the opportunities for new emerging trade deals between the EU and other countries and discuss a better position for UK post-Brexit intra-trade negotiations.

What are the strategies for Europe in the Trump Era of the Transatlantic Trade? Is there any strategy in the first place? What kind of ideas and tools are behind the European approach, and is it really working? What are the possible future developments of Transatlantic Trade? Is there any ambition to sign a new trade agreement in the current political climate? Will the UK have a better position on the trading field after Brexit?
