At the Institute for Politics and Society, I had the opportunity to work as an intern focused on the Digital Czech Republic project and affiliated digital topics. I had the chance to cooperate with the Institute on diverse types of work, from various analyses to translations and administrative tasks. Due to the current situation, the internship was done in the form of home-office, however, despite that, the cooperation worked very well.
This internship allowed me to get an insight into the work of the biggest Czech think-tank and to contribute to its activities. The most interesting aspect was being able to specialise on digital topics and gain experience with analytical work in this field within a think-tank, for example on the topic of digital sovereignty.
Overall, the internship at the Institute for Politics and Society was very interesting and enriching, and to anyone considering applying to join, I can only recommend it. Through this, I would also like to thank the team of the Institute for a great experience and very pleasant cooperation.
