My internship with the Institute for Politics and Society was educational, fun, and above all, transformational. I learned so much about Czech culture and interacted with experts and profoundly intelligent individuals. I enjoyed immensely working at this wonderful workplace, and I highly recommend it to everyone considering applying.
As an intern, I worked on translating Czech pieces, helping distribute accessibility-based technologies at Digital Czech Republic, and writing blog posts. As a study abroad student, my work primarily focused on cross-cultural comparisons between American and Czech societies, and I researched and wrote on a range of topics, from dog tethering to economic difficulties to the race for AI development.
Working with such brilliant minds while navigating life as a study abroad student was equal parts challenging and delightful. It was one of those experiences that changes how you see the world, and I'm grateful to have been part of such a thoughtful, impactful organization.
