I am eternally grateful to the Institute of politics and society that they offered to me an opportunity to do an internship at this think-tank.
For me, just graduated student of faculty of international relations and political science, it was a real chance to practice my knowledge and skills. I have attended two business breakfast: Integration of the Eurozone and two-speed Europe, business breakfast with the minister of finance Alena Schillerová. During my internship I had the possibility to prepare a report from the event, to practice my English by translating documents from the Czech language, but what is crucial from me—I had a chance write policy papers for IPPS. It is very important to underline that at IPPS you can choose a topic in which you are interested. I highly appreciated a help of Tereza Chmelíková, a skilled analyst of Institute. I am thankful for her to advise, criticism and remarks in our joint work.
And of course, for students who are planning to do the internship in IPPS, it is very important to mention, that during their internship they would not make coffee and nothing more. You would improve your skills in a realm of politics, not in making coffee for your boss.
I want to say thank you to all staff of this organization. I am grateful for your friendly welcome, invaluable help during this two month and a warm goodbye.
