Nowadays, students are required to acquire practical skills during their university studies. This fact was one of the reasons why I decided to sign up for an internship at Institute for Politics and Society. Since I study International Relations and therefore I am interested in politics, this think-thank was a perfect choice for my first Erasmus+ internship.

Despite the fact that I was mostly working a single large project during my time, I had the opportunity to try out different tasks. For example, I had to translate various documents, try out my graphic design skills while preparing a poster or editing websites. Among other things, I was able to participate in debates organized by the institute, such as Active EU for Young People with Comissioner Věra Jourová and Trump, NATO and the Middle East where the main guest was Prof. Gilboa. One of the events I liked the most was business breakfast, where we discussed Life after Brexit and Cyber security.

I highly recommend the internship in Institute for Politics and Society not only because of experiences proposed, but also for the friendly atmosphere created by members of Instituye – Šárka Prát, Marcela Voženílková and Miroslava Vitásková. I would like to thank them all for the opportunity to be  part of their team.
