Nowadays the most important thing is not a university degree, but to also have praxis and to gain some needed experience. This is why I decided to apply for an internship in the Institute for Politics and Society, specifically in the analytical team. I am also interested in Czech and foreign politics, so the Institute´s activities were close to my study field – Political studies and International relations.

During my internship I had an opportunity to participate in many debates with interesting speakers. For instance I partook in the debate The End of Our School System as We Know it? and President Trump´s Administration. The biggest event was undoubtedly the conference Digital Czech Republic with many interesting Czech and foreign speakers.

I would definitely recommend the internship in the Institute for Politics and Society for all students who are interested in internal or foreign affairs and want to try many varied activities. Furthermore, this internship is time flexible. And last but not least, I would like to thank the people who led me and helped me during my internship – Šárka Prát, Marcela Voženílková a Miroslava Vitásková.
