
Zbyněk Frolík
Ing. Zbyněk Frolík is the founder, managing director and CEO of Linet spol. s r. o., which is the absolute leader on the Czech market.
He graduated from the High school of Electrical Engineering and Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technical Cybernetics and electronic computers.
He was the best manager of 2009 and received the award of the publishing house Economia for the ability to successfully cope with the economic crisis. He is also the Entrepreneur of the Year 2003 in the Czech Republic and represented the Czech Republic at the international competition World Entrepreneur of 2004 in Monte Carlo.
He lectures at Tomas Bata University in Zlín at the Faculty of Management and Economics, at the Technical University – Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and the University of Economics in Prague.
In 2005 he founded the Academy of productivity and innovation, and is the chairman of the board of a generally beneficial company called “Let’s work smarter”. He is the author and co-author of many patents and innovative ideas, which after the realization won the prestigious awards for Outstanding design (2003, Eleganza bed), Head of the Czech Industrie (2006, Image bed) and the Innovation of the Year (2007, Latera bed). Since 2004 he is a member of the World Academy of Entrepreneurs (Ernst and Young, USA). In 2005 and 2006 he worked in the Government Council for Human Resources Development. Since 2007 he is a board member of the Export Academy of the Czech Republic, part of CzechTrade Bureau, and member of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic. Since 2008 he is member of the presidium of the Government Council for Science and Research, a member of the Czech Council for Export and Investments, a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University, member of the Advisory Board of the Company for Innovation – Innovation Thursday, and when the Czech Republic led the presidency of the EU, he worked as an external expert of the Deputy Government Alexandr Vondra in the “Competitiveness – innovation and knowledge society”.
